Default Hello everyone!

Hello, everyone! I am new here and wanted to say that I have learned alot from your posts. Thank you for sharing!

I am 37 years old and am being treated for tingling, numbness and pain that started in my left leg and has since spread all over my body. The active place right now is my face & it's driving me CRAZY! I also have dizziness, frequent sudden urges to pee, tremors, and what I call "jumps" but I guess is spasticity.

My neuro exam was normal. I have a VEP and brain/spine MRI with & without contrast scheduled for December 7 in order to rule out or in MS. Several blood tests were ordered also. I will see my neuro January 10 to go over all results.

The wait for answers may drive me crazy, especially since the holidays are here.

hi jules and welcome to NT,

i know it's so very hard to wait to schedule a test and then wait for the results.
try to think about other things or to focus on something else. like a book etc.

sounds like you have a whole constellation of sx's (symptoms). i hope your dr visit gives you some answers. sounds like your dr is doing all the right things.
please keep in touch with us and keep us updated.

Hi Jules, and welcome.

To dx MS is rarely an instant answer. Many of us waited years, and marched thru test after test till the MDs were left with no choice but to tag us with something.

you are in good company, pull up a chair.

Hi Jules - Welcome aboard the MS cruiseliner!

I love the NT group here and have learned so much from them all - a wonderful group of folks.

Hope you are fortunate to have a wonderful doctor who can get a diagnosis soon for you.

So glad you decided to let us know you were out there!
