I get a dull ache in the entire jaw area (ear to ear) and it drives me nuts! It can be relentless! Other times I get shooting pains in the back teeth area but nothing is wrong with the teeth. I ran to dentists for the longest time thinking I had TMJ or some sort of hidden tooth infection.
One of my first altered sensations was a feeling like the inside of my mouth was burned and a numbish feeling over my top lip.

TN is Trigeminal Neuralgia http://www.mult-sclerosis.org/trigeminalneuralgia.html
I dont know what "TG" is either.

I'm not sure what TG is either...
Erin provided the info about TN. My apologies clarkstar .. Trigeminal Neuralgia is not fun what so ever.
