Default Bleeding from Uretha

Bad night last night, Merry Christmas, found blood in toilet, wiped and on paper see blood. Feel lousy. Will see Urologist ASAP but today is Christmas, know unless I go to Emergency (doubtful) will not see anyone. Think it's a UTI gone horrible. Anyone have any experience? Kinda nauseous, not terriblely though. No vomiting.

Geez Kicker, what a crappy way to start off Christmas

It's up to you if you go to the ER or not but you are going to feel lousy for the weekend UTIs really should be treated ASAP.

I have dealt with UTIs since the age of 4

Being nauseous is normal for me with a UTI. Blood in urine can also be common but it might not be a bad idea to at least call your PCP or Urologist (?).

Other symptoms I have had:

Frequent urination
Urgency
Difficulty holding it/leaking
pain on urination
abdominal pain
Foul smelling urine
fatigue worsens/no energy
nauseous
Cognitive problems
Feeling cold/shivering -- I don't usually run fevers but some people do.

Feel better Kicker. Don't let it get too bad......a trip to the ER might be better than nothing. At least get an ABX into your system before Monday. Still see your regular doc but don't let it get too far along.

I say go to ER. Better now than if it gets worse and you REALLY should have been there.

old adages:

better safe than sorry
no time like the present
a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush
keep on keeping on
onward Christian soldiers (in honor of the season...)
sock it to me

I have run out of stupid things to say. But let me reiterate, I say go to the ER.
