We get this catalog and it sometimes has rolators in it.
I don't know which types are the best...but sometimes these look nice... they are close outs... http://www.heartlandamerica.com/?SC=WIG20001 http://www.heartlandamerica.com/brow...efined&DL=QSP3 http://www.heartlandamerica.com/brow...efined&DL=QSP5 Try Overstock.com too.... that is where I got my nice chair cushion! It made a huge difference in my legs since being on the computer was "killing me"... Here is overstock's page: http://www.overstock.com/Health-Beau...8/product.html They have $2.95 shipping on any order! That is a good deal! Maybe would make a nice Mother's Day gift? BTW this is my cushion: http://www.overstock.com/Health-Beau...tml?rcmndsrc=5

Thank you for those sites, MrsD. I looked at all of them. Overstock has a good price on the rollator. I'm going to seriously think about it. It would be nice to know I have it here just in case I do need it one day.

I prefer to use Trekking Poles. Your gait is much more natural and Trekking Poles offer more stability than canes...imo. As far as your leg giving out --- try working with a PT.

I also use a trekking pole outside, and on stairs. It is light and higher grip...and really helps. But I don't have MS, I have spinal arthritis and PN.
It is much easier to walk using a pole than a cane IMO. It is even easier on the hands...which bother me alot. I got mine at Dunham's for $15.00... The rubber tips do wear out and you need to buy new ones.
