Does anyone here go from happy to unbelievable sadness in the same hour.I am really wondering why I can't control this.Or is this another symptom that I'm just wearing myself out fighting.I noticed that it started with new burning pain all over on the back of my arms and legs.I haven't had that pain ever that hot or in such big patches. The pain has lessened but this new happy/ sad symptom taken it's place.

Depression and Anxiety can be and is a big MS symptom. Ask your Neuro about an antidepressent.
I was never depressed until MS. My Neuro told me it's clinical and not just situational, in my case. ![]() ![]()

I go through this too. Usually when I'm stressed to the limit. My neuro tells me it's emotional lability which is definitely a problem that goes along the MS.

Depression is fairly common with MS. I have recently started taking Prozac for it, works fairly well for me.

Emotional lability and depression are recognized co-morbidities with MS. Yup, par for the course. I found prozac helpful.

![]() ![]() I'm on 40mg per day, because I went from a high dose of Paxil to prozac, so you should probably start at 20mg and see how it works...alone. ![]()
