I'm sure there are plenty of positions available for someone diagnosed with MS, but wholly dependent upon their level of challenges caused by the MS and its impact on their daily functions.

I found my personal best answer was to create and develop my own business from my home. This allowed me all the flexibility I required to address the ever present symptoms of what we thought was MS at the time. In addition it created a whole new set of tax advantages for own my own business which far exceeded any benefit of working for someone else.

This would be an area I suggest you investigate keeping two very important required elements in mind. First, it is your own business and you will most likely have to talk to many different people. Secondly, you will have to sell something rather it be products or your services. To accomplish both you will be responsible for going out, marketing, to obtain the business.

There is no easy way, people just don't show up on their own wanting your product or services and you are your own boss. But, you have the flexibility to adapt to the symptoms as they present on a daily basis.

I did try the work at home link first and I need a ticket to work first before doing so.. I have another year til I get in for my hearing for ssi. :(

Kitty- Do you have to have a ticket to work first for the link you posted? It would really help if ssi would be on my side, how many times do I have to flare and quit my jobs because of MS in order for them to see I genuinely have a real problem? its so frustrating.

Anya - You get the Ticket to Work when you get on SSDI/SSI (whichever one you qualify for). There are many Ticket to Work options once you have the ticket. Quite a few of them are work at home things.
