Default Got a case of the dropsies. anyone else?

Cant seem to hang onto a thing now a days. I have broken more juice glasses, and water glasses than I care to count. Today I dropped and shattered the toaster. Now granted I really wanted a new toaster, but there was nothing wrong with the old one! DH thinks I dropped it on purpose in a subconscious kinda way. I have dropped the cats, I have dropped my pills, I have dropped my keys...Whats with the butterfingers?

Anyone else? Tell me what have YOU broken this week.

Red face

I drop stuff all the time (and I do not have MS--- but PN instead).

Pills and raw eggs seem to be my most common. I drop stuff out of the frig including ice cubes all the time. I also spill stuff on the counter. I've had carpal tunnel for over 30yrs...and some days it gets the best of me.

I am trying to be very careful with the kitten around here. She is still small.

When I make my crystal balls, there are days, with many dropped stones! Sometimes the language gets a little ripe when I have those days.

I drop things. Some days more than others. It gets very frustrating because I always take extra care to make sure I'm holding firmly to whatever it is I'm lifting or carrying (or so I thought ).

Dropping dishes and glasses is one thing.......but what do people do that have to carry babies and small children? I'd be terrified to have to walk anywhere carrying a baby. Sitting still is fine. But once I'm up and moving anything can happen! I've thought about this more than once and often wonder what I'll do when the day comes that I have grandchildren. I've looked forward my whole life to being a "Mimi" to grandkids and this really depresses me to think I won't even be able to carry them around. Not fair!

I've had my neatly arranged pills (in my pill cutter compartment) go flying across my living room as I'm walking holding the pill cutter. Slips out of my hand and pills scattered all over!

I am uber careful with handling my china mugs. My dinnerware is Corelle, I've not dropped any in a long, long time... but I have dropped before and only ever once broken 1 bowl (which shattered to a million pieces).

I drop cutlery like it's going out of style in comparison lol... I find I have to slow down and focus intently some days on what I'm holding/carrying as not to drop it.

Before I got a Mirena and the monthly cycle stopped, day 1 of my cycle (when Auntie arrived) I'd be a klutz-matic all day long. Without fail!

Oh, shoot...I have broken two glasses in the last week. I am having difficulty opening up jars, and pulling up those stupid tabs on yogurt containers.

As for dropping...I told my wonderful neuro how I had to drop a 1 qt saucepan of soup into the bowl so I didn't drop it...grrrr.

Oh heck, just get a kids sippy cup!

Seriously though, I have a cup that has a lid and straw. It's plastic too. But with my tremors I have less spillage and if I drop it, it won't break and water (which is mostly all I drink) won't go all over the place.

I think we all go through times like that. DBF will go through a week dropping things. I tend to drop more right before my "time." But, as Debbie mention, getting lids off is another story. Some days I can do it and some days I just can't get a lid off of something.

clearing out the pantry to see what foods I do and dont have here in the house so I can do a meal prep run, and BLAMMO! a 2 quart jar of home made Marinara sauce all over the floor. The glass broke and sprayed everywhere. Im barefoot, the cats now go racing by and track sauce into the living room and Lord only knows how they didnt get glass in their feet. DH stands there dumbfounded. He is the one with shoes on! Um, can you please get me a broom? ICK! its all over! it splashed onto the cabinets, the floor, the wall, the fridge, and messed up my clean pants.

Sigh, well. I guess I dont have to worry about the date on that jar, do i?
