Default cold to the bone. anyone else?

Good grief with all of the spring snow storms my body is confused, but yesterday I felt like both my legs were ice cold. I took a warm bath, and that helped a tiny bit. Both still were cold to the touch, and splotchy and ached. it was like both my knees, ankles and feet were having toothaches. Right to the bone. Made walking difficult. I put on thicker pants, and rubbed my legs with some arthritits rub to help circulation. it didnt help. I went to bed. put on pants for PJs and layered on the blankets. It didnt help. Both legs were cold and achy. I dragged out the heated blanket, cranked it to high, and it literally took 3 hours before my legs warmed up. It was painful! I felt like my knees would break if I walked on them. Of course they didnt, but it was weird!

Call to the MS MD this morn reveals that this has happened to other MS patients. Its a bizzare phenomenon that the brain gets confused and the circulation to the legs can be compromised due to crossed or missed signals. My legs were not blue, so I know they were getting blood flow, but they were splotchy so I know it wasnt normal. They reccomended IVSM. Now, im not a jump to steroids kinda girl. esp since i fixed it with heat and rest, but WOW how wild is that?

Anyone else ever have that happen? its much better this morn.
