Oh, I forgot to mention the name of the book. "The Perimenopause & Menopause Workbook" and it is written by Kathryn Simpson, M.S. and Dale Bredesen, M.D.

Yep the body heats up slightly with the rise in hormones. Thats why you can take your temperature to predict ovulation if you are trying to get pregnant.
Temp goes up!
