Default need some help

Please tell me if the blood tests need to be done 30 days before approved or 30 days from start of med. I have heard many say it takes more than 30 days to get approved. I dont live here in the summer but must wait till around May 20th to begin drug. The nurse in my Drs office says i cant do blood before April 20th. I am concerned i will not have enough time for approval, getting the med and then setting up start date. I must wait till then to start drug because i must be off Tysabri that long.
Eye exam and EKG are done.

Thanks for your help

by the way Gilenya support group wont help answer any questions. They tell me to talk to my Dr. I am his first patient and the secretary is going by the booklet it says 30 days.

No idea. I would think it would be a wash if you did it 30 days before since you are still getting the Tysabri out of your system. Keep me posted on the G, I am thinking of stopping the TY and that would be my next step.

I don't see why they can't send the bloodwork request to a local blood lab. Not sure where you live, but we have about as many Lab Corps here as we have starbucks.

I would think Gilenya would have a number to call, like all of hte other drug companies who could answer that question. Good luck.
