Exciting news on our televisions and in our newspapers yesterday :
A Canberra teenager with multiple sclerosis has received a new stem cell treatment which appears to have reversed the disease. Ben Leahy, 19, was diagnosed with MS in 2008 and ended up in intensive care at one point with respiratory failure after his condition deteriorated rapidly. He was in a wheelchair when he underwent the procedure this year and today he is walking and recovering well. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/he...treatment.html http://www.abc.net.au/local/stories/...?site=canberra
