they need an emoticon 'thought train' driving down the tracks then out of nowhere have it de-rail and disappear.. I would post that back in response.

So I wonder where all these ideas and comments go when they just disappear on us

I bet if we could find the secret stash spot we'd be rich!

Patent idea!! I need to tell DH about a memory-retrieval chip he needs to develop...or we should all buy a minicassette recorder to have at our bedsides for those great ideas that seem to slip into the ether...

I think if we had a memory retriever from our brains that we might get in trouble. I know if any of you is like me, some of the things I think of during the night shouldn't be repeated, written down or thought of again! My DH might divorce me, my children or parents disown me. I would be in trouble!

I have one in my purse and one by my bed. Dang batteries are always dead when I have an idea I need to record. Doesn't happen often!

DH and I both struggle with this. For us, it's age and stress of life. We play 20 questions until one of us remembers what it was we wanted to say/do/remember.

I was cuddled in bed last night about 9 and i remembered it! I was all excited and jumped out of bed to write it down. DH saw me headed in my direction saying "Whats Wrong!?! are you ok?!" and then I tripped over the cat, and scraped my elbow, ripped my nghtgown and had DH screaming at me about "WHATS WRONG?!" and "are you ok?" and "what the H is going on?!" so, by the time I got up, got my elbow cleaned and bandaged, and my night gown changed while telling DH what I was doing, he ran and got a peice of paper for me and said "tell it to, I will write it down." I stood there like a deer in the headlights. its GONE! its just gone. perhaps it will come back. sorry

At night amazing things come to us. It's like it's a different world. It has the same
landscape and furnishings and some of the same people, but what happens is different.
I wonder if I am schizophrenic. No one has ever suggested that I am. But I believe I live in two different worlds. who is the real me? I have a hunch it's the one in the other world.
What I have here just can't be real. It was dreamed up by a madman. (I am not blaming God, not saying He's the madman).

Explanation? Not much, but it probably has to do with genes. I had evil genes in my
ancestry, and I am a result of them. MS, Porphyria and Polycythemia Vera are a plot to
first cripple my early life (MS and Porphyria) and then bring my later life to a horrible end (Polycythemia Vera). but there is another me which will emerge, butterfly from this
hurting caterpillar.

So when you have good ideas and wake up with them, you are bringing back thoughts from another reality. And it's real, where that came from. Just doesn't fit here.
