Default Hrt

Just wondering if any of you girls are taking or using any of the hormone replacement meds out there? Saw my gyn yesterday and felt like he was trying to push this on me. Besides the MS and heart palps, I'm otherwise healthy. The night sweats are manageable...not too bad really and no osteoporosis. I do have vag dryness but there are remedies for that. So, why would I need HRT's?? I've been in menopause for two years now and really don't want to deal with having a period again which is what will happen with the HRT...right? Just looking for some opinions and personal experiences with this. Thanks everyone!

Some Docs and Nurses swear that some of those hormones help to curb some MS symptoms, so it may be worth a try, unless you are afraid of taking them.

I don't take any hormones. I may have been asked if I wanted to but I do not even remember!

I take a low dose estrogen and have each day since Dec 2000 when I had a hysterectomy.

I recently took estrogen when I was having such horrible night sweats while on copaxone. it didnt help one ding dang diddly bit. After I stopped taking C, my night sweats stopped.

I had breast cancer a long time ago, so HRT was a risky prospect for me, but I was miserable.

I was denied entry into a clinical trial for Copaxone and Estrogen because of my cancer history. I never did follow up for the results of that.

I can't take Estrogen or Progestin because I have porphyria. Even avoid phytoestrogenic
foods such as wild yam, soy, and garbanzos.
