Good luck to you and your new job! I also work at a hospital in registration. My regular schedule is three days per week, but the full-time employees want time off and that's where we pick up their extra hours. It is just too much for me at this point. In a hospital there is a lot of walking around to do so don't burn yourself out to soon. Having the extra money is great, but like a said in a recent post...I have no hobbies! I do get great gratification from my job in helping others and the patients, but you have to take care of yourself so you can help othes better.

I take Nuvigil everyday. I take half of the 200 mg tablet in the morning and it helps me get through the day. I work 40 plus hours a week and 53 yo with MS. Make sure you take it early and you should get used to it.

Good luck with your new job!

We have an employee in one of our local hospitals that is elderly and uses a scooter full time. He works in registration and does a fine job. I admire the hospital for hiring and trusting him

How's it going? Are you getting used to the routine yet?

Well, I'd love to say "Yes!", buttt....

I actually did better my 2nd day than my 5th day. Ugh.

Tomorrow is my 6th day, so we'll see how that goes. I hope it won't be so crazy-busy!

BTW, thanks for asking, friends! :grouphug: I do like it a lot, so things will get better ... its just that darned learning curve. Bleagh.
