The nervy, tingling, numb, and squeezing hug is back this morning. Bring on the ice.

I can't believe it's Friday, already. Yest, they were bragging here that it was the hottest day of the year. Oh goodie, NOT!!!:( But the record high for yest was in 1935 @ 105!

My body doesn't like it at all and is rebelling. I'm spasmy, achy, sleepy, headachy, grumpy, sweaty, groany, moany, mopey, dopey:mad: and yet, happy that I have A/C.:D

Today it's only supposed to climb to 94..woohoo..not!!

Yep, it is hot! I went with a friend to a farmer's market and out to lunch. Banks temps are saying anywhere between 95 and 98.

I heard back from gastro doctor. All texts were negative. So I just have good old fashioned colitis caused by inflammation. Started the meds at lunch.

finally is a bit COOLER with a nice, soft, COOL breeze ...

feeling better ... can paint ... going for a walk to the mailbox (haven't been that way for 2 days .. because of the heat) ...

so, I'm feeling GOOD ... and not sweating like a dripping faucet ...

stay cool everyone - as the heat rises in your areas!! trying to send some cooling ... remember the winter???

A cool breeze, that sounds so sexy!!!:D

Wow, do I post here or the pity party thread? Decisions, decisions.

I'm grumpy because we've had three days of a heat wave that we can't even call a heat wave, at least not at our personal house. It's stayed just a shade (ha) below 90...88.9, 89.4, etc. and humid, so we get all the benefits with the official designation. Towns just a few miles away were in the mid-90's. Not that I'm jealous!!!

Ever since I was a kid, excessive or extended heat has just microwaved my innards, giving me the "hurry-ups", as Mom called it. Doesn't seem fair to be stewing hot, PLUS meeting myself coming and going from the "hey mom" room. Guess you could call it the pity potty.

okay - I was in error ... the cool breeze did NOT last ...

I'm melting ... no breeze ... BUT ... R2 is making life bearable (my little rolling A/C unit looks like R2D2 ... so, I named it!)

does that mean my mind is melting, too??

I'm getting tired of being stuck in the house. My DH and I don't have the best of relationship at times but then he can be so sweet. He always goes out to the car and cools it down before I go out. When I see him pull out of the driveway and up to the front door I know the car is cool. But today he went one step further. When I got in the car he had my sunglasses in front of the vent cooling them off so they wouldn't be to hot for me. I can get so boiling mad at him and then he does something like that for me. He also told me that when he was out doing his usual karoake the other night a man came over and told him that his Mom wanted to meet him. He told him thank you but that he was a happily married man of 39 years. I guess I shouldn't be so mad at him not getting me a birthday present. I think he rather enjoys seeing me play with all the electronic things I buy for myself when he doesn't get me anything.

I had weird sxs today... Was running errands , when I suddenly was doing the drunk walk, got a squeezing type headache and felt "weird"... You know what I'm taking about.
I went home and parked on the recliner after lunch for 3 hrs. Felt good enough to finish crocheting the baby blanket I've been working on and even straightened up the place a bit. The problem was heat related I guess... It's been a rough week.:(

Not bad at all today, though I kicked a headache out of the picture earlier via Tylenol 1 (yay codeine...boo my stomach). Stayed indoors, far too hot and humid outdoors to imagine heading out (30c, felt like nearly 40c for us).

Did walk before 9 am this morning though, when it was still quite cool. I'm glad my days off (Sunday, Monday) are going to be significantly cooler in comparison.
