Default For the ladies......

Has anyone noticed an increase in breast size with all the meds they are taking?

I know that some experience weight gain but in my boobs???? I am now bigger than when I was breast feeding!!!!! Im now in the FF/G cup size...no wonder my back hurts!!!!

Just curious if I can blame it on the meds????

Rebif, Nexium, Pristiq, Gabapentin, plus a bunch of OTC's.

Thanks!!!!!

gabapentin and lyrica both made my whole body swell. The lyrica was the worst, and I only took it for about two weeks. (coming off of lyrica sucked too. did it cold turkey)

When I mean swell, I mean I couldnt get my feet into my shoes, even my socks felt a little snug, and I gained a ton of weight. It really sucked. That was my biggest problem with those drugs aside from the lyrica making me feel like I was stoned constantly.

Convinced me that I dont want to take anything much stronger than tylenol or ibuprofen. I sometimes take valium for spasticity, but that's about it...

I took Lyrica for only two days and quit! It made me so dizzy...was a horrible feeling on that med.

gabepentin made me swell, and since lyrica is a pentin drug I suspect it may be your issue too. I hope your back feels better, thats a not nice feeling when your back hurts.

I've been on gabapentin for years and never experienced any type of weight gain or edema. I don't take any of the others that you do.

But, I have to ask . . .Is is just your girls that are bigger? Did you gain weight in other areas as well? And, I don't know your age but it could be hormonal as well and not MS or medications. If your girls are the only thing that are bigger, than I would venture to guess it is definitely hormonal. That does happen to many women as they age and get closer to menopause. Kind of like when they get bigger during pregnancy - and mine did. I went from my itty bitty 32A to 38DDD while pregnant. Just something to consider.
