Yuppers, I read all that stuff too. Ruth

Update

Update on DM and brain injury. Well after stopping and finally starting the DM again we had no real good luck getting that wow factor back. Tried many doses up to 10 ml twice a day. Each trial for about 7 days. I was ready to call it quits when I went back to just before we started and re read my notes. We had come off of a supplement of pine bark extract when we started, wanted things simple you know. So I figured it was worth a shot to add that back in before we gave up on all the goodness of DM. Well its been a week and with a dose of 2.5ml of DM once a day and 50 mgs of pine bark extract twice a day, guess what? The lad managed to butter toast and sprinkle it with cinnamon and sugar, eat it with out me cutting it up, spread his tuna on his bread for lunch(still I didn`t cut it up), do dishes, say a couple words, and even attempted to change a toilet seat. Fingers crossed cause I sure like this when it works :) Ruth

Howdy MC- Pine Bark's been mentioned elsewhere for other issues (don't recall) but how bout the pine bark alone helps?
I still have Dex bottle I bought when I posted in this thread, doubt I stuck with it for a week & something tells me I have pine bark in a drawer somewhere from other thread heh.
Dosage- don't go by mL's cause I think I bought adult version with more med per mL.

Keep us posted and good luck.

I started trying pine needle tea made from my backyard quite a while ago and it had an effect but not like this. I also made homemade pine extract oil before but never gave it often enough to probably see a difference as it was a small amount. Then I ordered the store bought pill form. They are 100mgs so I have to split them myself to make 50`s for Jim. The whole ones were just to much for him. Russians have a pine thing that is actually sold for Alzheimer's, liver and whatever else. Its called ropren. Hope that helps...

Eddie my bottle says that each 5 ml is equivalent to 30 mgs which is dosed for 12 hour period. So 2.5 ml dose is the recommended one for kids 4 to six years old. Ruth
