MS does what it wants, when it wants and where it wants as long as it can affect brain matter and nerves.

someone asked me to explain a bit.
Corpus Callosum is the thick fibrous barrier between the left and right half of your brain. its the thick band that passes communication from left to right or right to left. Its how your creative side, talks to your logical side. The studies indicate that some with lesions in the corpus callosum have more cognitive issues, and some more visual issues. The halves of your brain can have a lesion in the direct path of communication between the two, and that can cause mental confusion, higher emotions or lower emotions, as well as the inability to problem solve. Wild! Gawd, I hate this disease.

I guess my lesions are mostly in my spine.
I can't walk but my eyes and thinker are still ok. ![]()

No wonder it's such a misunderstood and puzzling disease. Nobody ever has the same sx. It can be as different as night and day between MS patients.

Wow!!!
This explains so much! My first MRI report stated that I had 'numerous' demyleninating plaques in my Corpus Callosum (as well as a number of other places). Confusion, loss of problem solving skills, lack of higher order thinking, short term memory, an inability to follow instructions and so on have been a MAJOR problem with me since day one. Scary stuff, but it's good to know why. Thank God for Tysabri - I haven't been this well for years. I wish I knew what that will mean for me in the future - or maybe I am better off not knowing.
