Default My review on the montel williams super food powder

Visseeu and I got this the same day, and we have both tried it.

#1 the taste is not bad at all. I expected it to taste really bad from the smell of the powder, but it is like magic, once it gets wet and mixes, it calms alot.

#2 its very dry, airy powder that really doesnt want to mix. you have to work hard to get it mixed in. Vi used ice/water in a blender with one scoop. she mixed and mixed and still had dry chunks in her drink. I am using my juice bottle that I closed the lid on and hand shook it watching all the dry spots on the sides of the bottle till it was well mixed.

#3 it has a pulp like texture to it once mixed. like metamucil does once you mix it. I hate to use that analogy, because it tastes nothing like it, but it does perfectly describe the look of the drink I have before me.

#4 same thing for drinking it, it has a pulp of texture to it, same as you would get if you mixed up a bunch of strawberry. The seeds would be pulverized, but leave behind a grainy texture. You feel it wash across your teeth as you bite down.

#6 back to the flavor. Vi used water and said it almost had a nutty/chocolate taste to it. very lightly flavored, but very palatable. I mixed mine with orange/lemon/peach juice this morning, and it didnt bug any of the flavors in my jug. Didnt make them worse, or better. It did change the color to more of a reddish hue instead of the orange it started out with, but it has tomato in it.

So, on day one, I give it a thumbs up for flavor. you have to really mean it when you mix it so you dont get dry clumps, and it does have a grain texture to it, so you have to keep shaking it up as you drink.

Have no idea if this will hurt me or help me, but the first scoop is down the hatch. I will definatly have another glass.

How many times per day do the directions suggest for taking this? Is it a meal replacement or just a supplement? Is it a replacement for juicing?

Sorry so many questions. I hope it gives you good results!

The directions say one or two scoops per day.

Its rammed FULL of all sorts of vegetable powder, fruit powder, and other good for you stuff powder. all pulverized into a powder. Cant help but wonder what such a process does to the nutritional value of the items in it.

After drinking my juice with my ONE scoop. I felt full like I had a good breakfast. its several hours later, and I am not hungry or craving a snack.

It can be used as a meal replacement or an addition to your normal diet. I think if you are replacing a meal, its two scoops, but if you have a small stomach or are a smaller person one scoop should last you for one meal. That way you can replace 2 meals per day and have a healthy dinner.

mixed it with just apple juice today and YUM! it has a chocolatly flavor to it. Not bad at all!

It did help me poo. and I didnt take any other laxatives which is different for me. I normally must have interventions to go potty. perhaps this will work after all. Altho at a kings ransom.

I shall keep taking it. I woke with upset eyes, and really tired today, but its been a stress filled week here.
