I started a thought and didn't finish ... as of this last wednesday - 8/10 .. I've been on Ampyra for TWO weeks ...

it's funny - I was so use to the pain before .. now, it's gone (unless I do TOO much and it starts) but, if I sit for awhile ... then, it doesn't hurt so bad ...

hope all goes well - OH, you will have to do a 24-hour urine collection (they give you everything you need) .. and you need to keep the container in the frige ... and the last time you go is in the morning to collect - then shower and go to the appointment ... bringing the container along (I kept mine in a brown paper bag) ... and then, they will draw 1 vial of blood ... and by the next week - the doctor would of processed the paperwork for the pharmacy - and it comes via UPS .. once a month ..

hey JodyLee .. so far, almost 3 weeks now .. and I'm starting to tell a REAL difference!!

the pain in my hips aren't screaming when I run into the grocery store for 15 minutes ... use to be, I could barely get back to my car, I hurt so bad!!

I have been sleeping better, too - which helps .. and keep the water going!! I'm watching what I eat ... and the weight is coming off slowly - but it's coming off!! I'm not is so much pain (if any, anymore) that I have to sit for 15-20 minutes and relax, work on a puzzle or something ...

Been a little over a week for me. Have noticed some slight improvements in balance and walking a fairly straight line. At two weeks I will increase the dose to 2 pills a day, looking forward to measurable improvements. I don't think the cane will ever go away, but there is some hope.

good for YOU, wkikta!! I started with one in the AM and on when I go to bed - the other night, I forgot to take the PM one ... and I sure could tell a difference ...

going to call my neuro tomorrow about staying on it .. I can sense a difference - maybe even apply for jobs, now!
