With the MRI and the CT scanner, and baclofen and Tizanidine and ativan...we have greatly improved the lives of MS patients with or without DMDs. LDN alone has helped so many. We know better, so we eat better. We found thru trial and error that not only does ativan help with anxiety, but it relaxes that MS hug muscle. We have learned that stress is not our friend. So, I think MS patients do far better over all after a COMBO of many things, not just DMDS.

What the big pharma is doing by charging $3,600 a month for a one dollar pill is shameful. just shameful. They say its the research and development value and not the actual production value.

Did you know that 70% of ALL antibiotics are given to our food, and not to humans? So...when you really dig deeper you see pharma wants money. I dont think they would hide a cure, but I also dont think they are digging for one either.

Scary stuff.

Unfortunately, I think pharma would refuse to manufacture a drug that would save 10,000 lives per year if they could make only $10,000 per year profit off the drug per month.

Really for $10,000? C'mon that little bit of money wouldn't keep me in tampons and dirty magazines, lol.

Seriously though the pharmaceutical companies all have family members with diseases of some sort just like the rest of us. While I agree the amount they charge is excessive there is no doubt in my mind that if anyone was sitting on a home-run for MS it would be out there. There are too many other ailments and cancers to make money from if that is their only motivation.

Yes, the employees of pharmaceutical companies all have family members with diseases of some sort. But they don't make the business decisions for those companies...the top executives do.

While there are indeed good corporate pharmas out there, some I wouldn't place in that category. Just look at how Biogen/IDEC handled the initial release of Tysabri and the millions of dollars their top brass hauled in before it was originally pulled for several months. The Biogens of the world operate on one principal....profit and the more the better.
