Yes, the employees of pharmaceutical companies all have family members with diseases of some sort. But they don't make the business decisions for those companies...the top executives do.

While there are indeed good corporate pharmas out there, some I wouldn't place in that category. Just look at how Biogen/IDEC handled the initial release of Tysabri and the millions of dollars their top brass hauled in before it was originally pulled for several months. The Biogens of the world operate on one principal....profit and the more the better.
