I have a port in my wrist. Need I say more? :(

It happens all the time! I'm just glad to know I'm not the only one. :)
As for my whine, it's mostly always the same: Its frustrating trying to explain to my loved ones how I feel. I know they care, but they don't truly understand. And they try to help, but sometimes their "help" just comes off as insensitive. But I feel horrible for feeling that way! :(

Welcome Lizz..:)

Loved ones mean well, but unless they have MS too, they haven't a clue, how and why we hurt. That's what this place is for. We do have a clue and understand..

I'm ready to throw in the towel!! I don't want to say that MS has won but it has got me on the ropes and I am fading fast. I did some calculating today and it does not look good. I choke on about 50% of whatever. Spit, water, air or food, it doesn't matter. It could happen at anytime. My new neuro wants to send me to p.t for it but I already go 3x a week for my frozen shoulder. At $25 co-pay a pop, I would be begging 4 spare change on the expressway ramp. And still working a fulltime job. I just can't seem to win. That's my whine cause if I tried the other kind I would have even more health woes.:(

I'm a choker. Found out I dislike eating with others who talk and distract me. I gotta pay attention to what I'm doing.
Leaning forward when swallowing helps. Never lean back!!!!

I choke on my own spit all the time Sal. I explain it as allergies or something else. Since I work in sales and retail it can be a bit difficult at times to make up excuses. It usually happens when I try to multi-task and get ahead of myself.

The good news is, the temps are in the 50s.:)
The bad news is, the humidity is 97%

My body feels waterlogged..:hissyfit: :Help:
