I was wondering if anyone on here had ever used the Foot-up brace. My Neuro suggested it to me this week. I currently am wearing an AFO that I really hate wearing. I do tend to hyper extend my knee and the AFO helps stop me from doing that as much, but I actually still do it with the AFO. I'm just so scared of falling again I think thats why I do that. I just don't want to spend the money for this brace until I hear from others that it helps.
Thanks |

It looks very similar to the Foot FlexR that I use, only a lot more expensive, but you can get non-black.
http://www.speed-fitness.com/footflex.html It is a Track, Running, Appliance that keeps your toe up. The Foot FlexR is 2 for 29.95 plus shipping. Since you get 2 you have a spare.

Here's the "Foot Up" brace.
http://www.ossur.com/?PageID=13530 You probably should see your othotist as I previously posted and see what he/she has to say.

I also have an AFO but even after several adjustments, it still hurts to wear which means I rarely wear it and that just increases my chance of tripping over ... which I've done on many occasions resulting in multiple fractures. Good luck with a new one if you go that way, and do let us know how you get on.
