Hi Kitty

I am so sorry that you are having a hard time. Your body has had quite a shock - be gentle with it, sleep when you need it, try and make sure you are being gentle with YOU, and make sure you are giving your body all of the good things that it needs.

I hope that this hasn't triggered an exacerbation.

Look after you

Lyn

MUCH, much better today. I went out to dinner with my kids last night and had a great time. It's so nice to feel human again.

Whatever possessed me to have this surgery in between Thanksgiving and Christmas I'll never know. Maybe I was trying to get out of doing much. Well, it worked! I haven't done much of anything this month. Saved a good bit of money, though. I'm just glad it's over. I feel so much better and I'm looking forward to the new year.

Kitty, so glad you are feeling better. After my spinal fusion, I found myself going back to bed several times a day. It was beginning to last far too long. I realized depression was setteling in. I had to force myself to try, especially for those who cared about me, to be more up and try to give them some enjoyment. Eventually, I didn't need to keep going back to bed. Of course, your body is healing as well so a certain amount of extra rest is most necessary; just need to know where to draw the line. Just getting out with your children really seemed to be a pick-me-up. Great!!!!

So very glad to hear this Kitty! You deserve it! Just remember that even if you are feeling heaps better, you shouldn't be trying to move mountains. Let it all come in its own time.
