Kadi, if you've had the JVC test and all is ok with you and your Doctor, for your trying Tysabri, then stop worrying and give it a try.:) Just keep on top of things and report any worrisome side effects.

I have been on Tysabri for more than three years and it has done wonders for me.

As Sal said, if you have tested negative for the JC Virus, there should be no problems as far as PML is concerned.

If you haven't had that test, there is virtually no chance of PML developing in the first year of treatment (I don't think that there are any documented cases in the first year - though I may be wrong).

Good luck with it - I hope that it does good things for you too (although don't expect miracles with your first treatment - it does take a while).
