Default MRI CT PET XRAY iPad iPod App Found!

Awesome. I had brain & cervical MR Monday, brought to Neuro appt Wednesday on my iPod. Blew them away.

There's many free apps for wireless workstation access but require access to dr's network. This is the ONLY one out of 1/2 dozen I tried that transfers from pc to iPod/iPad via USB cable.

Enjoy

The preloaded scans are I imagne to show what it does but yes I said same thing at first. Easily delete them. I have my 2006-2012 brain & cervical MR's on mine now. Going for Tysabri in a few min, will bring & show, pass time looking at lesions.

One request i'll make to co is have default for brightness/contrast switched to movement cause it's a pain sliding through images when you bump button. I use iPod which is tiny.

so you CANT see YOUR lesions, its some random lesions that belong to another human being to demonstrate what MS does to the brain?

I would like it if I could carry MY MRI film on my phone.

Dej, yes you load/view your own series/studies. I imagine the included scans are for quick demo but if I made app, I would've left sample out. At least you can easily delete it. Showed the nurses as I got Ty yesterday. Cancer victim had his new iPad. Showed him mri's, he liked. I hope Apple makes a version larger then iPod yet smaller then iPad.

If I want to knock the app, it's lacking the ability to open up & compare more then 1 study/series at once to say compare last yrs to this yrs lesions. Also it can't compile slices into image such as my avatar, but that's quite intense processing for the cpu & memory anyway. I use efilm lite (comes with scans on cd) for that.
