Thanks for the info on the stair lift. I don't need it right now but 2 other family members who come to my house sure could use it. So since insurance wont' pay for me getting it for them I guess I'll wait. Our stairs don't look as wide as those in the video.

our stairs arent as wide as the ones in the video too. But that thing takes up less space than the old lift did. Cant wait till I can walk up and down stairs again so that I can see just how much space it saves. At least the track it's on takes up way less space, and isnt open to catching dust and dirt and allowing the goo they grease it up with to get on my carpeting. It's a lot cleaner looking.
