Default MRI and Spinal Tap

I was wondering if you a negative MRI and spinal tap means you do not have MS or is it possible it's in early stages?

Thanks for reply! I just want to clarify was the "Yes" for it could be in early stages or it means no chance of MS?

hi and welcome to NT

with both tests negative you wouldn't get a dx of MS at this time.
it can take time for the disease to develop but right now that would be good news.

Thanks that helps. I am hoping that it means no MS. I will share our story on a different thread.
