I was wondering if anyone with MS was told not to get a boob job? Or if anyone has had one done who has MS?

It is true that a totally unrelated trauma can throw us right into exacerbation. I am finding that I am having to take that into consideration when making decisions about dental work. The path of least trauma is the way to go for me.

I want a boob job, but am terrified. I had a double mastectomy after breast cancer. The MD tells me its up to me, but I have chickened out so many times. I just never want surgery again.

I've wanted a boob job for years. I thought ms was stopping me but then I thought it was money. But if I can shell out over 4 grand for dental work I can afford a boob job. Well before dental work, I guess I could afford it. It's just not vanity, I want to be proportinate. Below the waist I am a size 8, above I am a size -2. I've seen many specials on boob jobs and going under scares me along with detached nipples and having foreign substances in my body. For now a padded bra will suffice. Besides when my body goes south and starts to sag I won't have to worry about my boobs sagging.
Do your research!! You don't want this to cause any setbacks. |

My mother had the beginnings of Scleroderma (hers on the inside of her body) and didn't know it when she had her full face lift. Scleroderma is a terrible autoimmune disease that affects the collagen tissue and has a death sentence attached to it.
The face lift turned out phenomenal and her scleroderma eventually went into remission. Just goes to show you never know..... If something will make you happy and you can afford it then go ahead. Check with your doctor first and get his/her opinion on how it will affect your immediate health.
