O M G! went to see the cardio. passed out in his office. he said it was the topamax I was on. Spent the whole day in the ER where I was treated badly, rudly and meanly. I never asked for a single thing. didnt want to be there, and yet I was treated like I ran thru the door screaming "gimmie drugs!" UGH. Now the neuro is upset that I cant take what he considers a dream med. The cardio is upset that I kept taking a med I knew was making me sick, and bla bla bla.

Im home, Im off the med. I have no idea what to replace it with.

Im off to see the skin MD for my yearly check up and Jack sees the vet today for his check up, so im rushed.

geesh dej,
i'm just catching your post now. they should have someone to act as a medical liason between drs. wouldn't that be a novel idea!
i'd write a letter to the nursing hospital administrator about your ER tx, if you have any time and energy.

and it seems like all we do is go from dr to dr. what a racket.
hope you will be feeling better.

Medical liason may be your pharmacist. If you have questions about meds, you can always contact him/her. They have to continually take classes on the interactions of drugs & the side effects that can occur. Doctors (including Neuros) have pushy drug reps that give them lunches, golf outtings & bonuses to push the drug-of-the-month.
