Default Tingling in the scalp area

My son in law suffers from Restleg Leg syndrome.
He has also feels like he has trouble swallowing at times which has been diagnosed as GERD, but now I am worried..
He has been getting sensitivity to light and these weird feelings in his head which he describes as "restless leg feeling in his head". This same feeling starts in the back of his head and creeps up to the top of his head. He has trouble driving when this happens as if things are not visually correct or off balance.

Any of this sound familiar to anyone?
Doc has ordered a MRI and a host of bloodwork. Says it could be a silent migraine but the Doc is concerned about family history of Neuro problems and mini strokes. He is only 28 and this is frightening.

It certainly sounds concerning for someone his age...I'm glad the doctor is taking steps to relieve his mind, and/or fix it! It does sound like a silent migraine. I have weird sensory stuff with my scalp and forehead due to MS, but I don't have visual problems with it and it doesn't progress the same way. I have a different kind of tingling with an ocular migraine.

Keep us posted.

I hope the doctor can figure it out. Things like this are unnerving and that seems to make the symptoms just that much worse. Let us know how he's doing.

Yikes, another scary neurological mystery.
I hope that it's nothing worse than MS..

Yes, please do keep us posted.

I do hope they find out what this is. At least the doctor is starting to rule out what it may be. Hopefully just migraines which can be controlled.

So far his blood work has all come out normal. However; he started getting some weakness in one leg.
MRI is on Thursday.
