I'm not sure if it went generic, or was generic and really expensive before.
What I do know is, my Cesamet is no longer called "Cesamet/Nabilone". It's simply "Nabilone" now. I'm used to paying $35 out of pocket (after 90% insurance) for 1 month's supply (90 pills, 3 per day). The pharmacist advised me that while it's the same medication, the 'look' may be different (they're marked different on the capsules, and the color of the capsules is a bit different) and there's a sticker on the bottle as well advising of such. I purchased a few other items and just swiped the Credit Card per usual routine, not really noticing the cost until I looked at my receipt when I got home... My 90 pills, following insurance's 90% coverage, cost me $16 out of pocket! ![]() (this is the medication I take for my neuralgia pain pressure that I have on the left side of my head, it's the only medication for me that's helped this pain at all)

Provigil has now also gone generic (Modafinil). I've been waiting *years* to be able to afford staying awake most of the day. Let's hear it for consciousness. Yeaaaay!

Provigil has been generic for about the past year. They came out with nuvigil so they could have a patent and urged the MD's to stop prescribing provigil and switch patients to nuvigil. I'm gonna try and get new neuro to prescribe provigil generic. They most likely lowered price to compete with generic version.

Great news, especially since I've noticed many of my meds have almost doubled in price this year

I'm still trying to figure out why my Betaseron went from $1400 TO $3600 a month!
