Ok just came from my last appt with my neuro because she is leaving the office. and she told me that she can not explain my LP test of the 3 bands and it is strange that every things has stop now. Oh and I got your Psych test and I want you to read it because it is stating that you are under stress and maybe depress and that you should talk to someone. And maybe that is where all your symptoms are coming from oh and your memory test they said you didn't try hard enough

This is crazy... I see why it takes yrs to be dx.

You brought back memories of my neuropsych tests. The quack PhD doctor claimed my cognitive dysfunction, short-term memory loss, word finding difficulties, etc. were all due to stress and depression and that a little dose of some select pharmaceuticals could fix me right up!

LOL that is just what I just got finish reading. They want me to go and talk with somebody. This is all crazy why don't they just come out and say it it is all in your mind there is nothing wrong with you.

Sorry. many of us have been told something very close to it is all in your head (duh), you have a psych problem or are out right crazy. One friend was told it was because she did not have sex often enough!

Your work-up is right on schedule- good to get this all out of the way. I hope the new neuro knows more about MS.

ROFL!!! you got to be kidding, that is crazy.

I am going to the MS ctr they have my chart already and I missed a call from them today they want me to come in on WED and I was told I would not be seen until July so I wonder what changed.

I think sometimes that the early symptoms lead them to believe this and it is an easy reason to quit looking for answers. My niece who is older than me, used to be called crazy in her teens and beyond. Then in her late 30s she had an attack that affected her legs. It was right before DMDs came out. She tried Betaseron, and couldn't tolerate it, it made her feel very sick. Now, she is bedridden with only use of her right hand. I hate it that she didn't at least get someone to listen to her early on. Her life would have been very different if they had.

She is a rare, extreme case, so don't get scared by her situation, but it makes me wonder why it is still blamed on depression or mental issues?
