Well, the two weeks of relative improvement was nice, but this morning things are not going so well. Cog-fog, along with vision stuff, dizziness and incoordination are back in full force.
This may be due to a couple of nights of little sleep because of leg spasms, despite the Baclofen, so maybe with some rest it will ease off. Sure hope so. It is getting harder to read and type because of vision problems and the symptoms of motion sickness that go with it when I do. I'll definitely be a "slow moving vehicle" today. Catch you all later. |

Well poohy, Erica. I hope your setback is just temporary. Yes rest and relaxation are very helpful. I don't do this as a rule, but i'd take a valium and then lay down in a quiet room to rest/sleep.
Feel better.. ![]()

Sounds so much like my present tense, Erika. Especially ongoing eye problems. Any chance you have some pollution in your air making the eyes worse? My eye doctor whom I saw yesterday said I should use thick eye drops (like Celuvisc or other) several times a day, and even though that doesn't sound like a big help, it helps some, I find.

Thank you all for the support and understanding. No change since yesterday but that is a good thing...at least the Sx haven't become worse.
It probably isn't pollution caused as my area has had rain for a few days which helps to make the air pretty clean. Even so I do use Real tears on daily basis because of dry eye syndrome...and yes that does help to keep the vision as good as it can be most of the time. This current eye situation seems to be a problem with focus so I think that maybe it is due to muscle spasm of the muscles that operate the lenses, or the ones that move the eyes. There's just a bit of pain in the left one so I don't think that it is a return of ON at this point. I've had a mild fever overnight, so maybe it is a virus or infection of some sort that's causing problems. Do any of you experience symptoms of MS getting worse when you have an infection? I was still kept awake in the night last night but was able to cat nap a bit yesterday during the day. Will try napping again today and tomorrow (have booked off work), and go from there. |

Thanks again for all your support.
Thankfully the body & mind seem to be doing better today. Finally got some sleep last night. Its been a few rough days but there is light at the end of the tunnel...and it isn't the train. Will be seeing the MS neuro next week for another full work-up and to find out if he thinks the RRMS is progressing to SPMS; or if something else has been causing more problems. |
