Hi,
I have been diagnosed as having relapsing remitting MS, which i've had for over 20 years now. My concern is that I've constantly had issue with stomach pain on my right side and this then onset's a pain in my head behind my right eye and over the top of my right head. When i get this pain, i cannot function, i just have to go to bed and sleep it off. It may take days for this to go away. All i know is that by keeping my diet very plain, to the point that i only eat oatabix and lacto's free milk seems to ease it. What i really would love any advice on is, How can i avoid this pain? What could be the trigger? What other factor's in my life could be done to help ease this pain? Any feedback is so greatly appreciated. |

This could be unrelated to your MS. I'd go to the doctor and explain the symptoms, relating any meds you're taking and let them begin a process of elimination. It will probably take a while to determine what exactly is causing your symptoms.

I agree! just because you have MS doesnt mean you cant have something else going on too. An ulcer, a stroke, a peice of paralyzed intestine...many things.
Please make an appointment with your primary care MD and get a check up. NO ONE should have to live in pain. Feel better quick.

Valerie-Anne,
Welcome to NT. I am sorry you are having such difficulties. One thing that does happen in MS that might be related to your stomach problems is gastroparesis. How this ties in w the eye pain I do not know. I agree w the others, seek help don't suffer. ANN |
