Hi, bnz here from OBT. After reading the post here I felt I needed to join, seems like a friendly bunch. I was diagnosed in April 2004, was on betaseron for a short time and on copaxone ever since. Thanks for the welcome Sally.

Hi Bnz2, This is a nice group of PWMS and so glad you found us. We are a bit diff than OBT. Here everything is open.

Let us know how you are doing, and where you are with your MS. I hope you enjoy the support and friendship here.

Hugs,

Hello to BrainTalk's MS community!

I had my first sx in the ninth grade, my first exacerbation in my mid-twenties, was finally correctly dxd rrms twenty-five years later during my second exacerbation. For tx, I use C and LDN. I consider stress my big enemy. When I was first dxd, I made a commitment to myself to de-stress my life to the max. I've had the luxury of being able to do this. Currently, my MS is taking a mild course and my lesions are "shrinking".

One of my neuros explained that my lesions are in a huge mass within my left frontal cortex. If I weren't ambidextrous, I would have lost the ability to use language. Being ambidextrous feels like I was given an extraordinary gift. So, I figure the least I can do is to "calm" my MS in any and every way I can.

Glad to be here!

BTW, is this BrainTalk 2?

Hello Zia and welcome to NeuroTalk.

This was known as BT2 initially but Doc John had decided to change the name when the original BT was up and running again. Doc John let us (the members) vote on the name we wanted and NeuroTalk was the most popular.

NeuroTalk and Braintalk are not run by the same person and are not affiiated.
