Default The Heat and MS

Has anyone, besides me, noticed that, even with the A/C on full blast, that the excessive heat outside, is still finding it's way into your body, to make you feel like a useless limp rag??

I get up from a nap and can barely make it to the bathroom....nooooo strength at all. E-Gads!! I have to force myself to stay up and find myself nodding off in the middle of something....oops..

All I can say is...it Sux! On a side note...as long as the next day is cooler, we will survive. A few frozen cooler packs to sleep with & the nap!

ME! They picked the 3 hottest days of the year to make my major appointments on. I have TONS of running to do, yet the heat says NO! my tummy flips over, i get the hug, I cant think, the floor feels uneven, and ...im going to bed. I have an AC blowing directly at my bed on 66 and while the cats think its awesome, I want to crawl inside it.

If I'm in and out of the heat....like in the car then the store then the hot car.....it really effects me.

As long as I'm inside in the A/C it can get as hot as it want to outside and it doesn't bother me. But all it takes is for me to step outside for just a minute and my vision gets blurry and I walk like the floor is uneven.

OMG, I was just thinking this same thing today. Im alittle opposite tho. When it was cooler out, I was limp and had drop foot on my right foot. Now that its over 90, my muscles have locked up and won't relax....
Pets needed food today so dh and I went to the store and whew!!! HOT doesnt even describe it. It was 9am and we thought... lets go to the store early when its cooler out... yeah right!! The air in the store wasnt cold enough so we took the motorized cart and strolled thru the freezer isle for me. That did it!!

Definitely me too! This humidity is "killing" me. My all ready swollen legs are even larger with horrible hard, yucky-looking blisters on them. Can barely stand long enough to "back up" to the toilet or stay awake long enough to make it through one tv show. And this is with my central AC set at 67.

My daughter is visiting from Phoenix where it's been 100+ degrees, and says she's sweating more here with the high humidity. Out there it was only 5%. Of course it's really hot, but not muggy. Wonder if that would make a difference for us?

Hang in there everybody.....looks like cooler weather is on the way.
