Default My mom may have had a stroke

Probably not just may have had a stroke I'm pretty sure she had a stroke (Although they are checking her for meningitis or west nile virus before they'll say "stroke")

I'll post more when I know more and when the dictation software is more cooperative. Because my hands aren't being cooperative either

Just having a really. Bad week with my flare and now my mom

Let those docs work their magic & try to relax. If it's stroke, hope for lil damage & things should work themselves out. You can't be good for mom or yourself, if you imagine the worst.

My dad and my aunt are both nurses. They always go for the worst case scenario first

So I'm always stuck with the gloom and doom first thing off Whenever something bad happens

I'm still waiting for information I'll post more later

The doctor called after my dad got home.

She said it might be something called herpes viral encephalitis that my mom might have

I'm not sure if that's better than a stroke but it sounds better

Hopefully it's not contagious because I was in her room all afternoon after being on iV steroids all morning.

If it is herpes viral encephalitis I don't know what the recovery time would be for that. Hopefully something better than stroke

My dad is still really freaked out.

I'm going to bed in the hopes to getting some sleep before I have to be up at the hospital for my fourth day of IVSM.

Just thought you guys might like to know the what's going on.

I need sleep.

Viral menningitis or brain stuff tends to be not very infectious unless you are extremely immune compromised. its the bacterial kind that spreads thru college campus' and knocks down healthy 20 year old kids.

I hope mom feels better quick.

They are back to calling it a stroke

I'm not exactly sure what's going on because my steroids have kicked inAnd I am not paying attention to things very well

I got one of my aunts to drive me home My best friend is going to come over Little While hang out And possibly find me some food

I'm just glad I'm done with the IV steroids

Now I can sit at home to wait and find out what's going on with my mother

It may still be something viral or bacterial It might've been triggered by a virus I don't knowI talked to the infectious Disease doctorperson and she suggested that I don't come up to the hospital since I'm on Steroids Since they're not sure when yet what's causing everything

I am so wiped out now it's not even funny I do think the Steroids might be helping a little bit somewhere somehow.

I'm in a go upstairs and wait for my best friend to show up and see if there's any food
