Default Finally some good news

With all the stuff Im going thru right now, I figured Id only get more bad news. Well, I went to the eye doc for my yearly exam and she checked everything. Good news, what the neuro told me was optic neuritis ISNT!! My optic nerve is in perfect health! And everything else inside the eye is doing just fine too. My peripheral (?) vision is worse, but hey, I dont drive anymore and the doc was glad to hear it. I havent been that happy in awhile. I really needed some good news

My very first case of ON was not visible to the eye doctor because it was in a place on the nerve that is too deep to be seen. So here I had a doctor telling me that there was no problem with my eyes, and yet I was still losing vision. Thank goodness I pushed the issue and got a second opinion. Come to find out that I had ON, and that's what led me to be diagnosed with MS.
