I tried drinking the sugar free, but the sugar substitutes don't like me..

Hello Sally and others,

There is a natural sugar that does not raise blood sugar, so it is safe for diabetics. Humans metabolize this sugar very slowly and easily...plus it helps to prevent cavities.
I don't know if they ship to the USA but hopefully they do for those who are interested.

Big warning here: DO NOT give it to pets (dogs and cats)! It will kill them just like antifreeze does as they lack an enzyme to metabolize it.

The capsule extracts are fine! no need for juice at all.

There is another remedy that some post about on NT called
mannose.

http://tahomaclinicblog.com/d-mannos...ey-infections/

Something to think about. A poster on our PN board has used this for a long time.

Searching Google you can find more information.

He didn't call in my script, so he is probably going to make me come in. I'll call tomorrow and see what's up. My phone was off, so if he called I didn't get it.

Pooh this whole thing sucks river water.

I hope tomorrow you start feeling a little better and the dr. can call something in. I know it's hard for you to get in to see him but there is an upside of going in - you may not have a UTI and it's better to get tested than to take more meds for something you don't have. (Hope that makes sense.)

Hang in there Sally! Let us know what happens tomorrow.

Doc's nurse called and Doc said amoxicillin is not effective for UTIs, so he called in something else (hopefully I'm not allergic), and we shall see. I'll keep you informed, as this all unfolds and "the world turns" (Que Music)

Not feeling well. Promised Doc I would be in, if meds don't make me feel better. Sleeping better though, so I'm resting.

Thanks..
