Default Foot pain

Is there anything special someone can do for foot pain? This has been happening for the last week or so. Usually it starts when I come home from work or if, on a day off, after a period of activity & then after a couple of hours of lessened activity.

It starts out with pins & needles and progresses to a heavy vibrating with needle-like stabs. Most of the time, it's just in the pads of my toes, but sometimes (like right now) it's the whole bottom of the foot & runs up the back of the leg.

Is there a name for it? And should I mention it to the new doc as a symptom or is it just being tired after activity?

As always...thank you for your info & suggestions~!
