Need to win the lottery to afford it. Have always said that if I took a cruise it would be to Alaska. I'm not a sun-worshiper and I want things to look at other than water.

Need to go check my MegaMillions ticket. Iowa has had 2 Powerball winners of over $2 million since July, latest was just this week. (not me)

ETA: Only matched 1 number, darn!

In 2014 when kids graduate college, I am going to Alaska on a cruise. NO, not bringing kids. Two old and dear friends say they are coming too with their SO's. DH is in, of course. I want to be on a small cruise boat, as they fit into bays, etc., better. Got 1 & 1/2 years to plan.

We are booked on a Glacier Bay cruise in 2013 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had to pay more for the handicapped room that will accommodate my wheelchair. We are taking DS/GF and DD/guest. DS's GF's mother may book a room. My SIL may book a room. We are having one big ship party!

I may not get out on any tour but it will be a cool treat. I have never been to Alaska and I hear that the cruise up the coast is full of nature.

Room/entertainment/food inclusive. Not as expensive when all is considered.

It may not have anything to do with an MS cruise but could not resist sharing!

@Jules. Thanks. Kids (albeit grown!) love the idea. All I care is that we all gather for dinner each night. Plus since I cannot really go off the boat easily, DH has a "ready-made" group to share.

You can come too! Anyone using our name automatically gets $100 off their cruise!

We never went on a cruise to Alaska. We drove up there and drove on 6 of the 7 roads. We did this four different years. Back in the day my husband worked up there and then he drove up there his second trip. Then we flew ourselves with our kids in a small plane to Alaska and rented a Rent-A-Wreck and drove 1,602 miles. Then three more times for my husband and I. We also drove on past the Arctic Circle. Wonderful trips.
