Default I am still feeling the numbness after lumbar puncture that was done a week ago.

History

I was admitted to hospital last week due to mild bilateral optic swelling. The doctor recommend me to do a MRI scan and lumbar puncture. MRI scan results were normal. It was unsuccessful in the first attempt of lumbar puncture. The doctor tried again the next day under fluoroscope. It was successful. The opening pressure was 24mmHg. My diagonals was Idiopathic intracranial hypertension.

A week has passed since the first attempt of lumbar puncture. I am still feeling the numbness and having discomfort in my stomach area.
Does lumbar puncture affect the stomach ?
WHy am I still feeling the numbness ?
