I had my twice a year phone visit with Biogen and they asked me about the pen. I have big enough thighs I am wondering if the smaller needle is long enough. What kind of experience do you have with it? Especially if you are overweight

I recently started using the pen. At first I was very anxious and even had a mild panic attack. My DH had to push the button for me the first two weeks. After that I was okay. I found it to be much easier and quicker to use with less pain.

My yearly appointment is in Feb or March so I will ask my neuro about it. It has to work on a big fat leg though

Unfortunately my leg is no skinny minnie but I see what you're saying. It hurts less so does that mean it's not getting in far enough?

The pen is a smaller needle, but it goes in a different muscle in the thigh. Instead of the top of the thigh it goes in the smaller muscle on the outside. I just switched to the pen after a month of the pre-filled syringes for the dose titration. I am not liking the pen as much as the syringe to be honest, but I haven't given it enough tries yet.
