Default Grateful

Today may be one of my worst pain days ever but as I lay here reflecting on my day I cannot help but feel grateful despite the agony. I am grateful today for my fiancé- for putting up with my whining, crying, and complaining. For offering to carry me when I can't move. For going to work every day so that I don't have to. For cooking me food and sometimes forcing me to eat. For loving me no matter what. Life with me has not been easy and will probably get a whole lot harder but he is my rock- my everything. What are you all grateful for today?

I know the feeling and my DDH (not always, in 36 yrs) ended up being my rock and cheerleader, also. I am alone now but still feel his hand holding mine, sometimes.

Lisa, I was glad to see your thread posted...ive been in a rough patch and need to be reminded to think of all the gifts I've been given in docs, meds but especially loved ones who support me even when I'm at my worst. You've made a difference today...
