Anyone else suffering from a little or a lot of MS fatigue, during this busy season?
I try to do all my work in the morning, because once I sit on my rump, I'm down for the count. ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm sure that the stress from it is what's causing my Fatigue Funk. And if I hear Silent Night sung with all those abused animals in the foreground again, I'll puke. ![]() HO! HO! HO! ![]()

Sorry you are having more fatigue than normal.
![]() I don't like the fatigue. It comes on so quick and there is nothing you can do about it. I don't notice an increase in it lately. But, after several years of learning the hard way, I am finally learning to pace myself. It's still hard to do especially at this time of year. I hope you start feeling more "awake" soon. ![]() ![]() |

Sorry that the fatigue funk has reared up on you Sally
![]() That is truly a miserable thing and not much can be done about it; but to rest the body...and the mind (especially what with all that has been in the news lately). Here's something that might cheer you up for a moment or two: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZ48TDpK7ho ![]() With love, Erika |

Hard to tell, for me. Sometimes I have mega-fatigue because I overdo it. Sometimes it's stress/anxiety/depression--one or all three. And sometimes it's totally random, just hits me out of the blue.
I'm still trying to accept the reality of it and "plan" accordingly, but I'll admit I'm still surprised and disappointed when it happens. This is the new Me.

Sally, sorry that the fatigue funk is strong.
From a Chinese Medicine perspective this is a very dormant/yin time of the year. A time to rest and revitalize by resting (think bears hibernating) Society almost always demands that we be in yang energy, and ignore the desire to rest and revitalize. I have been sleeping a whole lot more lately and attribute it to the season and the natural cycles. I look at it as a way to nourish myself with what I need. (I have been getting acupuncture for 18 years now and even at this time of year the points she needles are different than the other times of the year) Maybe this will help you some.... |

I think with me it's more the funk than the fatigue and I wonder if both may be some depression but I always bounce back. I think I have some 'Tigger' in me! All of my Christmas presents are still piling up on the kitchen table. And I have to do grocery shopping, and laundry, and some more house cleaning, and more last minute Christmas shopping. Now I'm getting tired!
Oh and my daughter and husband are buying us a new kitchen faucet and will install it which means I have to discover what is under my sink and get it all cleared out! Now that I dread. We built this house in 1978 and I don't think I have cleaned there since

Who knows how I will feel tomorrow. I spent 3 hours doing Christmas wrapping and acting just generally silly while doing it. Really being very goofy to the amusement of others. I also did 3 loads of laundry which made me walk up and down the stairs 6 times. My husband offered to go the loading and unloading into the washer or dryer for me but I wanted to do the walking up and down the stairs. I want to see how much calories that will take off when I do my food diary tonight. I would have let him do it but the adrenalin rush I had wrapping presents gave me the energy and desire to do it. Plus we did a major shopping trip to Walmart and of course had to bring it all in going up one flight of stairs. A word of advice, don't buy a bi-level when you are young
