Default MS and dirty electricity

Are we be poisoned by Electromagnetic Frequencies (EMF)?

This is a topic that I've kept an eye on for years and have also done some research on. The findings have encouraged me to limit my exposure to EMF as much as possible and this primarily takes place in my home; where wireless electrical devices, DECT phones, cell phones, compact florescent light bulbs, microwave ovens and TVs are not used.

Currently I am one of 150 thousand homeowners who are challenging our government and its monopoly corporation which provides electrical power to 18 million homes.

Two years ago they began installing wireless smart meters on all homes without the consent of homeowners. I refused to allow the installation and up until recently they have let me be. Recently they sent me a letter saying that I now must accept the installation of a wireless smart meter or they will cut off my electricity.
I have replied to them, that I continue to refuse a wireless smart meter; adding that they must obtain a court order to install one (this they can not do); so we are at a stand-off.

Has anyone else run into problems with EMF, wireless smart meters and/or strong arm tactics by power companies/governments over this issue?

Would appreciate your input.

Hi Erika,

I did watch some of the video, I stopped watching when it showed it didn't help some.

Keep in mind MS has been around since at least the 1400s, long before current technologies were even around. MS is also ver unpredictable, there can be good and bad days, weeks, ect.

I tend to be a skeptic and from the little bit I watched, I wasn't impressed or buying into it.

Here's some more info.

Apparently this type of EMF can affect the calcium channels, which in turn can affect heart, brain and nerve function .

For some reason, our local Ohio Elec Co is not using Smart Meters. They're coming though, especially if they work in the other Ohio areas. So, no worries....YET!!

Now all we have to worry about is smart phones and wifi stuff..

The thing that concerns me are the potential imediate efects for some who may be sensitive to EMF (don't know if I am or not, but have chosen to be cautious), as well as the potential long term effects of this sort of thing on the general population.

When I think of how long it took for the info to come out on the long term effect of smoking, I wonder if this isn't going to be similar.
Smoking was once recommended by physicians as a treatment for asthma (circa 1935).

Just thought I'd bring it to people's attention; what with all the EMF devices that we use without giving consideration to the potential cummulative effect.

So you don't use microwaves, don't watch tv, don't use wireless phones or cell phones, don't use wireless computers???

I mean when the meters came out I loved that no one had to walk all through my property anymore and never had a problem and we had them for yrs. I can understand being worried about something that is right there in your face but te meter would have to make it through concrete or bricks.

plus is risk with everything we do and use in our life. we have this disease and we never thought we were going to get that and microwaves and tvs didn't give it to us.

You asked for input; here's mine.

With your watching and research, can you explain why people who get/feel better through medications, therapies, diet, etc., could be helped even more if they didn't have a cell phone stuck to their ear, or use their microwave, or watch television?

There was a thread topic on our RSD/CRPS forum that is somewhat related to the EMF issues, about something called Earthing.

Might be of interest for overall health.

Good question Sparky,

I look at it this way:

We know that MS flare-up and progression are related to stress. So if sources of stress are minimized and/or managed, then at least theoretically, one should have fewer and perhaps less severity of flares.

Managing diet for optimum nutrition along with balancing exercise with rest, are things that we can do to assist the body to manage internal stresses.

Limiting exposure to environmental irritants like heat, infectious sources, smoke and pollutants (possibly including EMF radiation), may decrease the body's overall cumulative stress load.

With management of both internal and external stresses optimized, the potential for disease relapse and progression might be minimized.

With love, Erika
