Jane is here, in wicked cold southeastern VA-

Sympathies & hugs to those who need it, joy & smiles for those who are doing well.

I also look forward to "chatting" with my NT friends; my outside the home activities have gotten saller and smaller and my NT buddies make my life feel more "normal". We all sit at our computers talking, uplifting, guiding and helping each other.

I am sitting here today in my flannel jammies, slurping another mug of coffee. Sis is off to her sheltered workshop, DH is still in bed (his RA is acting up) and my kitty Spot is snuggled in my lap (she told me she is proof-reading). I have an afternoon conf call - which I am seriously considering blowing off and a sink full of dirty pots from supper last night. All in all, life is good.

and Sal ---:You-Rock::I-Agree::Good-Post::Thanx:

Hi ya Blessings.

Hi MSer, it's bitter cold here, so I'm an indoor cat right along with my CinderPaw.:D

Awwww Keely, So sorry about you losing your little Kittycat and of course your MS would act up, with all of this stress. Eating sometime give you solace, so eat, just move it more when you can.
My love and prayers are with you, DH and DCat.

HI Lisa, so sorry that you haven't been feeling well and having a flare up.:( I know about the sleeping in chunks, mine are at least about 4 hours though. 2 is not enough. Hope you are better soon.

Hi Marion, glad you are doing well and getting some PT, too. My BP always is high when first taken in the Docs office, but I ask the Doc to take it before I leave and it's always back down.:)

Nice to see you JANE,:) my kitty Cinders was sitting in my lap proof reading too, until I had a spontanious jerk of my leg and she flew..lol. Thanks for all the love and right back atcha.:D

Nothing really "kept" me from riding. It is just really hot during the summer unless you go really early or really late...and I am not a morning person at all. Also, starting in mid october, we began redoing our kitchen and laundry room, so I have spent at least part of every weekend between now and then working on that.

I usually ride 2-5 hours nearly every weekend between mid january and mid april to train for the MS150, so it is nice to take a bit of a break for the rest of the year. Though I usually ride a bit more in the fall than I did this year. I still do 45-60 minute spinning classes 2-4 times per week depending on the week all year round, so I don't really lose my fitness level.

Okay....I'm gonna need good thoughts and prayers this Saturday. DS has asked me to go to his fiances' dress fitting, venue visit and lunch with him, his fiance', her mother and the dress maker. :)

This is a good thing......I just hope I don't collapse before I make it back home!

He's picking me up at 9 AM Saturday morning (the time I'm usually rolling out of bed ) and we have to go all the way up to the wedding venue which is about 50 miles north of here. Fiance's mother is so sweet and fun to be around plus she is aware of my limitations.

It's going to be a long day but DS is so excited about it and wants me to go so there's no way I'm going to disappoint him. His fiance' called me yesterday to tell me how excited they are that I'm going. She's so sweet. I just hope my left leg and unpredictable bladder behave themselves and give me a day off.

Having an allegic reaction to the bactrim. I kept telling myself that I was just imagining the itching. Yesterday , the itching continues, had a severe headache on the left side of my head, and continued to be nauseated. This morning I wode up splotchy. So I am discontinuing the bactim, taking benadryl, and waiting for doctor to call about another antibiotic. I just might not take it.

Kitty, good luck with your outing, your bladder and your leg:). I hope you don't have to do too much walking. Do you have a walker?

Relax, have a muscle relaxant (to early to drink) before they pick you up and have a great time. You deserve it, dammit:D

SallyC 01-24-2013 02:40 PM

I'm allergic to bactrim too or any of the sulfa's and also to cipro and macridid.

Hope you find another AB that works for you.
