Exactly! I was going to post the same thing. Three trys and you're out. Get someone else to do it. This holds true for many things, including drawing blood.

NoWakes - Gosh! I am so sorry you had to go through that. I would not go back to that neuro. Find a new neuro if at all possible. Of note, I was diagnosed without an LP. I don't know your history or anything like that but is it possible that you could be diagnosed without the LP as well? Good luck and try to rest and relax today as much as possible. Drink plenty of fluids throughout the day today. (By fluids, I don't mean just water.) Let us know how you are doing.

A "doctor" who continues after you have asked them to stop should not be allowed to practice medicine!

I'm sorry you had to go through this!

LOL Sally, I can be pretty blunt with people at times, naturally a bit sarcastic, and not at all afraid to ask questions or call them out on what I feel are nonsensical answers.

I found the whole process of getting a dx a bit frustrating, especially since I had the most likely dx a year and a half before they did and no one seemed to want to listen.
